Salon Eleven Academy’s creative approach to
educate will go beyond the industries status quo
that has left students ill-prepared to enter the beauty
industry. We will push to inspire our students to
achieve more than simply earning a license. We are
in the business of human connectivity and we will
focus on improving students’ lives on both a personal
and professional level.

    As mandated by the Virginia Board ofCosmetoloogy
all students must complete 1500 hours of beauty
school instruction and experience. With our
customized curriculum as a Pivot Point member
school, we provide you with a competitive edge in
the salon world. The Pivot Point curriculum is a
highly interactive system that allows students to
 move from simple to complex and because of our
knowledgeable and talented cosmetology instructors,
we are able to deliver a unique student experience at
our academy. The staff leverages a number of different
teaching methods to cater to students preferred
learning styles. No matter if you learn via hands on,
visual or auditory means you will be comfortable
developing your skills at our academy. The classroom
focuses on lectures, video and demonstrations while
the clinic floor is all about doing and discussing. We
insist on keeping class sizes small. We feel that
smaller classes provide a more intimate educational
environment. Students will develop a number of
skills throughout our cosmetology program,
including, hair cutting, hair coloring, hair styling,
make up, skin, nail care and much more. We will
offer full-time as well as part-time evening classes and
we have payment plan options.
